Proceedings

The proceedings of the Focus Meeting will be edited by the IAU General Secretary and published in the IAU series Astronomy in Focus by Cambridge University Press. The previous proceedings are accessible on-line.

The Guidelines and Instructions for Focus Meeting Authors and Editors for the publication of the proceedings are available on-line, so you can start preparing your manuscript today.

As we have got a size limitation of 60 pages per Focus Meeting, and the number of participants is quite high (26 scientists gave oral talks and 20 scientists presented e-talks/e-posters), we would like to give priority publishing to oral talks only. This decision is following Instructions for Authors and Editors of IAU Symposia: “The Proceedings of an IAU Symposium should provide a comprehensive overview of the field, rather than a collection of short papers that provide snapshots…”, https://www.iau.org/static/scientific_meetings/authors/IAUcombinst.pdf. Thus, unfortunately, we can not handle requests for publishing from the e-talk and e-poster participants, so we advise and encourage all e-speakers to prepare articles after their talks and submit them to other regular scientific journals.

All invited and contributed talk speakers were asked to express interest in publishing their articles. If you have not received a corresponding e-mail for some reason, please, contact the SOC as soon as possible.
